Yes. Perimeter College Online is the largest online service in the University System of Georgia. Perimeter College offers most core courses online, while specific guided pathways, such as business administration and criminal justice, also can be completed online. Students can elect to take a combination of online and on-campus courses to fit their degree and schedule needs. Because a limited number of guided pathways are provided completely online, most students elect to take a combination of online and on-campus courses. Online courses include accounting, computer science, education, English, math, Spanish and many more.

An average of 45 percent of Perimeter College students choose to take courses fully or partially online. Online-only students pay a technology fee and special institutional fee but do not pay other mandatory fees that are associated with on-campus services. Plus, they benefit from the free online support provided by the Learning and Tutoring Center.

Perimeter College offers more than 30 academic pathways (programs of study) toward an associate degree, including two career pathways – dental hygiene and nursing – which prepare students to pass licensing tests and begin work in their fields immediately upon graduating. To submit proof of vaccination and medical records to Perimeter College, carefully read and follow the instructions below:

  • Download the immunization certificate. Note: It is preferred, but not required, that students use this form.
  • Completion of the first page is required.
  • Completion of the second page is not required but is highly recommended.
  • Review the required immunizations at the top of this page in their entirety and ensure that the documents satisfy the requirements.
  • Ensure that the documents clearly show your name and date of birth and have been signed by a medical authority such as a physician or nurse. Note: Students who are requesting a distance learning waiver or religious exemption do not need to have their documents signed by a medical authority.
  • Upload completed documents and lab reports (if applicable).
  • Allow 7 business days for documents to be reviewed and processed. Any questions or concerns regarding immunizations will be communicated through email.
  • Review the two options below and choose the appropriate option:
  • Students who have been accepted to Perimeter College at Georgia State University and know their student ID number and have an established password for their student ID should log in to the Patient Portal.
  • Students who do not know their student ID number and do not have an established password, and need to complete the immunization process should reach out to healthclinic@gsu.edu for more information.

Additionally, fee waivers must be received by our office within 14 days of submitting your application. Yes. Perimeter College students are invited to unite with fellow Panthers in downtown Atlanta to see Georgia State University’s 16 varsity sports teams compete at our various athletics venues. Perimeter students get free admission to all Georgia State University Athletics events. Students are also invited to join an intramural teams or sport clubs on their respective Perimeter College campus.

Yes. MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) provides public transportation to Perimeter College’s campuses. Students enjoy a discounted rate on rides when they purchase a student monthly MARTA Breeze Card Ticket, which are available for purchase at the campus cashier offices each month for $61.00.

Yes. Each Perimeter College campus offers free designated parking areas for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Permits are required, and regulations apply. University police enforce parking regulations. Visit our Parking Portal to register a vehicle, pay a citation or appeal a citation. Parking for visitors to the campus may be reserved by filling out a visitor request form at least 24 hours prior to the visitor’s arrival. Visitors who have not reserved spaces in advance should report to the university police office on the campus they are visiting to obtain a visitor parking permit.

Based on rates for the 2022-23 academic year, the total cost to attend Perimeter College as an in-state student each semester (taking 15 credit hours or more) is: $1,765, which includes a base tuition of $1,425 and mandatory student fees. The total cost to attend Perimeter College as an out-of-state undergraduate student each semester (taking 15 credit hours or more) is: $5,735, which includes a base tuition of $5,395 and mandatory student fees.
