Four courses combine the expertise of more than 20 professors: Africana Literature in the Americas, Introduction to Africana Studies, Introduction to African and African American History to 1865, and Introduction to African and African American History since 1865.

Enter an intensive program of specialized study and general education, learning from experts, to train to become a licensed dental hygienist in just two years. Graduate with the knowledge and confidence to pass the National Board Exam, and then begin working in a dental office immediately.
Study under expert faculty, gain a broad nursing skill set with practical experience and become a registered nurse in two years or less. Graduate equipped to pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX) to get your Registered Nurse licensure.
After a 15-year career as a dental assistant, Monica Vargas decided she wanted more responsibility, so she turned to Perimeter College’s dental hygiene career program pathway. She quickly earned her associate degree, passed the National Board Exam and landed a job as a dental hygienist — her ultimate goal — at a practice in Atlanta.
