SCHOLARSHIPS

Awards Atlanta Public Schools graduates $1,500 in need-based funding for up to two years.

Awards 40 students up to $4,000 in tuition packages annually.

Pays 93 percent of tuition for students with a 3.0 or higher core GPA from a Georgia high school (who maintain a 3.0 or higher college GPA).

Pays full tuition for students with a 3.7 or higher core high school GPA and a minimum 1200 SAT or 26 ACT score (who maintain a 3.3 or higher college GPA).

Provides up to $55,000 per year for up to three years to carefully selected, top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at selective four-year colleges or universities.

Perimeter College student Papa Ebo Quainoo was among just two students in the state of Georgia to receive the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship in the spring of 2022. He was chosen from more than 1,200 students from 332 community colleges. The scholarship will provide Quainoo with up to $55,000 a year to complete his bachelor’s degree. A native of Ghana, he will continue his studies as an aerospace engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Financial Aid

Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for federal, state, Perimeter scholarships and outside scholarships. The priority deadline is April 1, and Georgia State’s/Perimeter’s FAFSA code is 001574.
