Ninety-nine percent of students who demonstrate financial need receive some kind of assistance. Much of that support comes from a variety of need- and merit-based scholarships — only some of which require applications. Deadlines vary.
Apply to Georgia State by Nov. 15 to be considered for numerous admission-based scholarships that could net you up to $3,000. You’ll be notified if you’ve qualified for a scholarship upon acceptance to the university.
Campus Atlanta Scholarship
Merit-based scholarship covering all or part of the out-of- state portion of tuition.
Presidential Scholarship for a select group of exceptional incoming freshmen
Amount: up to $28,000/year for four years depending on in-state / out-of-state status

*NEW — Starting in the 2023-24 academic year, the Stamps Scholars Program will award scholarships to five incoming first-year Honors College students who are Georgia residents
Amount: covers tuition, fees, housing, living expenses and a meal plan, plus a $10,000 enrichment fund, which can be used to pay for study abroad programs, research or other internships, academic conferences, leadership training or other designated activities.
