Apply to Georgia State Via the Common Application

If you’re a high school senior or graduated within the last two years, you’ll apply to begin your bachelor’s degree program using the Common Application. Georgia State is test-optional for admission through Summer 2026.*

Apply to Perimeter College

To begin an associate degree program at Perimeter College or transition to a bachelor’s degree at the Atlanta Campus, you’ll apply using the Perimeter College Application.

Apply to THE GRADUATE SCHOOL

To pursue a degree, certificate, non-degree and/or transient graduate program across the university (excluding the College of Law, for which you’ll visit this site), you’ll apply using the Graduate Admission Application.

and $60 fee in early fall of your senior year of high school.**

Official high school transcripts through the Georgia Student Finance Commission, the Common Application or Parchment, or by mail to:

B. LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

Letter Of Recommendation (optional) through the Common Application

C. WE ARE TEST-OPTIONAL THROUGH SUMMER 2026

*If your high school GPA is 3.4 or higher, we don’t need your test scores.*** If your GPA is below 3.4, send them to us.

SAT Scores through collegeboard.org (Georgia State’s SAT code is 5251)

ACT Scores through act.org (Georgia State’s ACT code is 0826)

3. CHECK ADMISSION STATUS

**For applicants to the Atlanta Campus only.

***Some scholarships may still require test scores.
